He confronts Trevor, who admits that Juror Number Seven is a plant, and that his company is funded by Russian mobsters; he insists that he had nothing to do with the deaths of Lara, Rilz, or Jerry, but Lara was going to divorce him, putting the Russians' money at risk. Mickey remembers his father's words: it is harder to live with losing a case when you know your client is innocent.
Sang-pil tells Jae-yi the truth about everything and shows her the evidence he has. Later she confronts Hyung-man, who tells her he killed her mother. Jae-yi is grief stricken, but cannot bring herself to tell her father. Sang-pil comforts her and she begins to understand how he has felt over the last 18 years. Yeon-hee investigates the leak in her office and begins to think Sang-pil may be right. Oh-joo continues his campaign and reveals that he will put his company in a blind trust. Keum Ja comes to work at the law firm, and helps the team investigate a prosecutor.
Jazz Raycole plays Izzy, Mickey's former client who becomes his personal driver and a part-time assistant at his admitido firm.
He soon finds demodé that she was back in LA and back in the life. Far from saving her, Mickey may have been the one who put her in danger.
Hayley blames Mickey for Eddie’s death and rejects him. Mickey meets Freemann, who commits to their relationship. The next day, he finds Moya has sent a guard to protect him. Three months earlier, he is enjoying newfound fame after Trevor Elliot's acquittal, but his relationship with Maggie remains tense, and Izzy is back with her ex-girlfriend, Rae. Mickey is hired by Russell Lawson, arrested for breaking into a neighbor's home. The DA reopens the case against Jésus Menendez, with Griggs leading the investigation. Frustrated with her stalled career, Maggie leaves dinner with Mickey, and he meets chef Lisa Trammell, spending the night together. Mújol asks for his help with a restraining order from Existente estate developer Mitchell Bondurant for protesting his gentrification of her neighborhood.
